MEET YOUR BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER

Bringing fine art boudoir photography to Baton Rouge is more than a profession for me, it’s my passion.
I am a wife, mother & photographer constantly looking for balance in my life… but it’s definitely all worth it. I’m an advocate for finding yourself and expressing yourself in whatever ways speak to you!

I am proud of the work that we do here. Not just on breathtaking portraits for you to have for a lifetime, but also the head work that happens. We hear stories day in and day out of triumph, new found confidence, rekindled romance and love. I would say most women start off this journey as a gift for a spouse or partner. That quickly morphs into something much bigger, a self love journey.

We specialize in creating the ultimate boudoir photoshoot experience by making each and every one of our clients feel safe and secure. We inspire confidence that shines through; reminding you that beauty is individual and unique.

We are an all-women team of professionals who believe boudoir has the power to capture the essence of femininity that sparkles in every woman regardless of her shape or size. We know that taking photos in lingerie can be intimidating so we make the experience comfortable from start to finish!

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

Don’t stress about preparing for your session, we’re here for you! We’ll go over everything from what lingerie is best, to what you can do to pamper your body beforehand. We’re excited to help you get the boudoir session of your dreams!
We have created some fantastic resources to help prepare you for your session. Once your session has been booked you will receive our Client Prep Guide. This will help guide you through the process and answer most questions you have. We will schedule a consult in phone or in person to go over everything as well.

As Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas only EXCLUSIVE boudoir studio we have got you covered on the best experience possible. You arrive to be pampered in hair and makeup, sip on a beverage of your choice and relax listening to music you have selected. Once hair and makeup is complete it is time for you to let go and trust the process.
You will be coached through the entire shoot from your head to toes. I will demonstrate most poses, feel free to laugh! Everyone is nervous to start, but the nerves go away after we show a few beautiful images from the back of the camera. It’s important for us to show our clients how beautiful they are looking in the photos we’re capturing as we move from room to room. By the end of the session, most of our clients want to keep shooting because they are having so much fun with the experience!

FAQ’S

***I DON’T KNOW HOW TO POSE! WILL THIS RUIN MY IMAGE?***
First of all, don’t stress yourself over this. Posing is not as intimidating as it seems! I will personally guide you through this process and make you look (and feel!) your absolute best during the shoot.
***I’M A CURVY GIRL, IS THAT AN ISSUE?***
Absolutely not! In fact, we love curvy girls! It is not about size, it is about who you are and the confidence you bring to the shoot. Curves are beautiful and we love to celebrate them. Plus we know exactly how to pose you and use lighting to show you at your best. We think all women are beautiful and we have experience in photographing bodies of all shapes and sizes. This enables us to take sexy boudoir photos our clients love because the photos are flattering to their shape.
***WILL MY PHOTOS BE KEPT PRIVATE?***
Your name and all your photos will be kept completely private and off my site and social media unless you give me express written permission to share them. However, I do ask all my boudoir clients to *consider* allowing me to share a few of their images, even if only the ones that don’t reveal identity. I wouldn’t have an updated portfolio or a strong enough online presence to attract new clients if it weren’t for the incredibly generous ladies who allow me to share a few images!

After seeing a friends boudoir session pictures with Missy, I was blown away. I knew I had to do it for myself. I was very nervous the closer my session got and actually had to reschedule it until later in the year. I was nervous the night before and the morning of but I figured what did I have to lose right? I was greeted with a warm welcome by both Jenny and Missy and I already started to feel more comfortable. Jenny did phenomenal hair and makeup on me and I was so impressed. The 3 of us talked and laughed the whole time. When it came down to photo time, I was nervous again. But Missy was right there, coaching me exactly what I needed to do and how to pose for each shot. I am so happy I decided to book with Missy for my boudoir photoshoot. It was so amazing! Missy and her crew did a wonderful job making me feel beautiful and sexy!
